Hi....my name is Leila Guy,( most people in the show world would know me as Leila Bull ) I live on the south coast. Bournemouth, Dorset. With my husband Malcolm, with our dogs and cats!

   Malcolm got me my first Old English Sheepdog in 1986 as a present for letting him work in the Falklands Islands,I think I had the better deal! Her name was Sophie and lived with us until she was fourteen years old and that started my love for this wonderful breed.

  1991 was the first time I started to show my dogs, first with "cleo" and then her half-sister "Eve".

​

  Well, once you start showing your dogs, the next thing is to breed a litter of Old English Sheepdog puppies, which is what I did next.

​

  1997 I bred my first litter of Valleydell Old English Sheepdog puppies.

Valleydell Action Man was the puppy that I kept from that litter to show, followed shortly by Valleydell Crystal Ball J.W.

 

  The next step is to Judge, which I started judging in 1998 and last year (2013) I was past to give Challenge Certificates by The Kennel Club here in the UK at Darlington Championship show for the first time.

  2016 I judged for the first time 

abroad in Germany, which I found very interesting and I am looking forward to next year ( 2017 ) when I'm judging into Holland.

​

  I have served on The Greater London Old English Sheepdog Committee since 1996 and also a local Canine Society since 1998

 

  2008 I became a member of The Kennel Clubs Accredited Breeder Scheme.
